General Terms and Conditions

Reservations can only be made via the website or via the phone number of the appropriate branch.

After reserving a time/date you will receive a confirmation email. (Check your SPAM folder if necessary.) If you have not received a confirmation e-mail, the reservation has not gone through.
Is your preferred time not listed? Let us know by e-mail ( or by phone at 085-13 07 411.
We can then see what we can do for you. In some cases we can put you on the list in case of a cancellation, we will contact you immediately!
Payment can be made in cash or preferably by pin payment at the location itself. If you would like to transfer in advance that is also possible, please let us know early by email.

The recommended age for participation is 16 years.
3-8 people per game.
People who are suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to play. When at the start of the game a Live Escape employee doubts the condition of a participant, the employee has the right to refuse this participant without refund.
You need to be present exactly at the reserved time. If you're late, it will be deducted from your playing time. Our advice is to be present between 15 and 30 minutes before the game starts.
There is camera surveillance for the safety of the participants. Instructions must be followed at all times.
You are not allowed to bring your own devices into the game. (This includes phones, watches, cameras, anything that gives or can give light or fire, tools, stationery).
It is not allowed to use brute force, force things during the game or cause damage to walls, puzzles, furnishings or decoration. Any damage caused will be recovered from the player who made the reservation.
Access to the escape room and playing the games is entirely at your own risk.
We are not responsible for personal belongings and or damage caused to them. Lockers will be made available to store valuables.

Cancellation is free of charge up to 7 days before the booking.

In case of a cancellation within 7 days the following conditions apply: The cancellation costs are € 70,= per booking, moving the play date to another time within 4 weeks is possible for € 25,=.
In case of "no-show" without prior consultation and written response, the full amount will always be charged!

The number of players can be changed up to the last minute as long as the minimum and maximum numbers per game are met. Exceptions to this are arrangements and bookings made in advance.

Please send an e-mail to or call 085-13 07 411 if you wish to cancel the booking. The cancellation is completed after confirmation.

It is not possible to receive refunds for online payments. However, remaining credits can be converted into Live Escape gift certificates redeemable at all Live Escape locations.
It is also not possible to redeem gift certificates for cash.

The enjoyment of the escape room is preserved when only the experience, but not the secrets, is told. Therefore, consider yourself bound to secrecy.

Live Escape is located at Westblaak 13 in Rotterdam. For the processing of personal data for your reservation at Live Escape BV we use a reservation system of OnlineAfspraken BV. Live Escape BV has signed a processing agreement with OnlineAfspraken BV which complies with the rules under the AVG.

After your visit we offer to take a photo with your group. This photo will be placed on the public Facebook page of Live Escape BV and may be used for promotional purposes. If you do not want a photo you can indicate this at the time to the staff.

Live Escape BV has several (security) cameras on its premises, which can be monitored live for the safety of customers and employees. The images are also kept for 90 days. After this, they will be destroyed.
